Mailing lists are getting flooded with reports, it is raining CVE’s. Copy-Fail, Dirty-Frag, what is next, Extra-Fromage?

Naming is one of the hardest problems, I doubt if there is enough time to come up with good names at the current pace. It would be a shame if a clever exploit does not get a proper name, because everybody is already thinking of the next one.

Whats that? You still make VM templates manually? You cannot handle the pace, it is just too much? Thinking about paying for extended support often, instead of using that money to the inevitable upgrade?

You might be suffering from manualiritis. Technical debt increasing as an operational disease, too many tasks coming in. I expect these times to be a test to see if enough work was put into the automation and documentation of infrastructure.
